As Elina mentioned, I have experienced that students get excited about using technology in general. It might have been due to the fact that technology availability was hard to come by in the school that I student taught in. However, since technology was something so new and fresh for the students, they were always excited to work on the computers and learn new skills.
Using technology on a regular basis and incorporating technology in the classroom is in itself a show of teacher positivity. I say this because I had very little experience with using technology in the classroom. Since, technology was not used too often in the school, I didn't really think of incorporating it into my own lessons. I think that the teacher's positive attitude towards technology will show in the way that the teacher incorporates and introduces it in the classroom learning environment. Students are always thrilled for hands-on experiences and visual learning. So as long as the teacher introduces the many advantages of using technology, I feel that the students will have a positive attitude towards technology themselves. I have realized that competency and challenges bring about excitement in many students. If students are taught new experiences in a positive manner, I feel excitement will definitely follow.
